Last Post

Today I will writte about an evaluation that I’m going to do about this English Course. The main points  I will be writting about are, firstly, If I enjoyed it and why, secondly if it help me to improve my English and, finally, give my opinion of the pros and cons of blogging in my English class.

Let’s start with the fist point.

I have to declare that I enjoyed this English course because it was very funny and defiant. Also, we talk and writte about a lot of interesting topics that I’ve never been talking about in English like important dates, my favourite photograph, my favourite piece of technology and controversial  issues and taboos. In my opinion, the methods of the teacher were right and appropiate to have significant learnings.

Moving to the next point, I think this english course help me to improve my English specially when we had to discuss different topics with a partner.

In my opinion, pros of blogging in my English class are:

-    Writting about different topics, and
-    Reading in our classmates blogs and give an opinion about it.

Cons of blogging in our English class are:
-    Sometimes, I didn’t know what to writte and the time passed very fast.

So, That’s all I have to writte on this blog. Goodbye!!!

Chilean puma

Today I'm going to talk about the Chilean puma, also known as the lion of mountain. The puma (Felis concolor) is protected by the Chilean law, but it is still victimized by illegal hunters that follow them in the Andes.

It’s a carnivorous mammal  that belongs to the Felidae family. The body of the puma is strong, its head is small and its color is dun brown. Its length changes according to the different zones where the puma lives and it ranges between 1,4 and 2,4 meters.

They are animals that have a lof of habillities for example to climb up trees or move in a rocky place and they can run fastly in short distances.

Pumas live in all American continent and its natural environment is the jungle and rocky places. In Chile, the puma lives along the Andes. In the Cordillera de la Costa of the central zone of Chile you can see them rarely.

Females are smaller than males, they have young every two or three years and their gestation takes  between 90 and 96 days. Their babies are born with different colored markings on their coat, but they lost that color when they grow up.

This photograph shows an islet and the sea at dusk in Lagunillas, a location of Navidad in the VI Region of Chile. It was taken by me two months ago when I went there with my parents. I took this photograph on a hill and If you want to go to the beach, you have to down carefully by a small path.

I like this photograph because I always go there to walk and watch at the sunset. This is a solitary place that inspires me to think about my life and the things that I have to do to be happy and obviously, I go there to enjoy the landscape. I have taken a hundred of photographs of this place so nobody can talk that I don’t like this lovely place.

Most of the times I go there with my dog called “Sofía” and she likes this place as much as I am. Sometimes she gets lost but she always finds me and gets really excited and when it happen, she runs fast to me.

I hope you like this photograph.

Features about children’s literacy

Features about children’s literacy (created by children)

Children’s literary work is characterized by coming from experiences they lived, this is to say considering  what they know and think and also what they want to live. If you impose a topic that they don’t know, the literary work could lack of fluency, coherence, sense and authenticity. And if you force a children to create a composition, he could block hiso r her creativity.
So, the  literary work comes up voluntarily  and the child must be motivated to write or generate a literary work, so the adult must estimulate the child to wish express their interior world with emotionality and penetrate the deeper of their sensibility for having a new creation emerging.
Metaphor and animism fantasy are other of the features about children’s literacy.…(It will continue)

My favourite piece of technology

The mobile phone is one of my favourite pieces of technology. The last one I bought is Samsung Galaxy mini. I got it about 2 months ago. I use it to talk with my family and specially with my friends. I use it to check the e-mails, send messages, watch the time, set the alarm to wake up every morning, read news, take photos and sometimes I write notes about important things that I can't forget. So, I use my mobile phone every day of the week.

I like it because it's very useful to be connected with all people I know and I can download a lot of free games, e-books, songs and millions of different applications.

I think life without mobile phones could be more complicated because people need to be comunicated to work with other people and the mobile phone helps them to be in contact.

Music

Alejandro Sanz is one of my favorite singers because I like romantic music and I really like the lyrics of his songs. He also is a composer and a musician. He plays pop and romantic music.

He was born in Madrid, Spain and he began playing guitar when he was seven years old, so he has always loved music. He thinks it’s  hereditary because his father was a musician too.

He recorded his first album in 1988, it’s called Los Chulos Son Pa' Cuidarlos. His last album is called Paraiso Express and it was recorded in 2009.

My favorite song is “Corazón partío”. I like it because I friend of mine gave me the album MTV Unplugged , she played that song and began to sing, so I always remember my friend when i play it.

Quiero Morir en tu veneno
Corazón partío
